The Pink Lily Freeze

Fat Freeze

Fat Freezing often referred to as "the safer alternative to liposuction" is a body cosmetic treatment. The goal of Cryolipo/ Fat Freezing is to remodel the shape of the body by removing and improving stubborn bulges and pockets of resistant fat.

The concept of this procedure is to freeze fat cells in an area, causing them to die and so they are destroyed and then eliminated by our bodies via natural processes. In essence, it removes and reduces the size of fatty pockets.

Because the body takes nearly three months to eliminate the destroyed fat cells, the body has time to adjust and recover slowly, allowing the skin also gradually to shrink and tighten over the treated area. So there is no loose, hanging, or flabby skin left over the area as commonly seen with more invasive procedures such as liposuction. The destroyed fat cells are gradually metabolised and eliminated by the body over 6 to 12 weeks.

How does it work?

One or two suction and cooling heads (independently controlled) with large surface areas are placed on the areas to be treated. The Fat Freeze immobilising the fat tissue and isolating the treated area from the surrounding tissue.

Low temperature (0 to -10 C depending on the thickness of the localised area for a controlled period.

Once the cooling procedure is completed, the fat cells are liberated into the lymphatic system and gradually eliminated by the body’s natural metabolic processes. Lipolysis -the breakdown of fats and other lipids by hydrolysis to release fatty acids.

After the treatment is completed, patients may immediately return to their normal activities including work and exercise.

What can be expected?

Several days after the procedure, the cooled fat cells begin a process called “apoptosis” and begin to shrink. These damaged fat cells are slowly metabolised over several months by the body and removed through the liver. Cold Technology is highly effective and produces consistent results.

When can we see results?

With the Fat Freeze treatment and thereafter up to 12 weeks. Results thus far prove that one can lose from 5cm to 10cm per area depending on the treatment time.

Who is an Ideal Candidate?

It is suitable for all skin types and skin colours.

The ideal candidate is someone in relatively good shape, or relatively close to their goal weight, but struggles with fat bulges such as a muffin top or bra budges, or weighty inner thighs.

These treatments are certainly not an alternative to a healthy diet or lifestyle.

Cavitation

What is Body Cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation or ultrasound cavitation is effective body contouring treatment that’s used to break apart fat deposits in your body.

Fat cavitation uses ultrasound waves and radio frequency energy to selectively break down fat cells and cellulite without affecting your organs and cells. Immediately after treatment your body will clear away the disrupted fat cells through the liver and the lymphatic system.

The procedure is comfortable and painless, has no side effects and requires no anesthesia.

The ideal candidate for ultrasonic cavitation:

- is in good overall health

- doesn’t smoke

- has realistic expectations

- is already within their Ideal goal weight

How does it work?

Ultrasound waves are sent deep into the layers of your skin causing a disruptive vibration. Fat cells then break apart from each other and are dislodged from your dermal layers. After a few days the fat cells are absorbed by your lymphatic system and drained as waste from your body.

Radio Frequency Treatment

Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin. The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen.

Collagen is the most common protein in your body. It creates the framework of your skin and gives your skin its firmness. As you age, your cells produce less collagen, which leads to sagging skin and wrinkles. Skin laxity occurs around age 35 to 40 when the quantity and quality of your collagen begins to decline.

It is painless:

You may experience redness after radiofrequency treatment that can last up to 24 hours. But the process is not painful. Patients may experience a little bit of discomfort due to heat, but it is bearable. The skin is heated at a controlled depth. Skin temperature is constantly measured during the procedure, to avoid burns and other problems.

Single treatment is not enough:

You will need 5 to 6 treatments for the best results. Do not think that only one treatment will be enough. After several sessions, you will have more radiant and firmer skin. It will treat fine lines and sagging skin of your face as well as your body.
